Στο Athens Velo ετοιμαζόμαστε φέτος να γιορτάσουμε τα 5α μας Χριστούγεννα με μια μοναδική πρόκληση!
Το Athens Vertical Cycling Challenge – AVCC
Από τις 23 έως τις 29 Δεκεμβρίου καλούμε όλους εσάς, τους λάτρεις της ποδηλασίας, να καλύψετε σε αυτό το χρονικό διάστημα των 7 ημερών συνολικά 4.019 υψομετρικά, αριθμό συμβολικό για εμάς αφού συνδυάζει το έτος ίδρυσης του ΑV & τη διεύθυνσή μας.
Θα υπάρξουν 4 special δώρα που θα διεκδικήσουν όλοι οι συμμετέχοντες ενώ παράλληλα σε όσους καταφέρουν να ολοκληρώσουν το Challenge των 4.019 mt θα δοθεί από το Athens Velo ένα εκπτωτικό κουπόνι 15%, το οποίο θα μπορέσουν να χρησιμοποιήσουν για την αγορά προϊόντων (ρούχα, οπτικά, αξεσουάρ, συμπληρώματα διατροφής) από το κατάστημα. (Το κουπόνι λήγει στις 31 Μάϊου 2025)
The prizes names (τα δώρα θα ανακοινωθούν σύντομα):
- 1st Place: King/Queen of the Mountain (Περισσότερα κατεκτημένα υψομετρικά)
- 2nd Place: Summit Slayer (2α Περισσότερα κατεκτημένα υψομετρικά)
- 3rd Place: Elevation Warrior (3α Περισσότερα κατεκτημένα υψομετρικά)
- Bonus νικητής: Lucky Climber (Τυχαία επιλεγμένος νικητής κλήρωσης στο τέλος της πρόκλησης. Πρέπει να έχει ολοκληρώσει την πρόκληση των 4.019 mt για να συμμετάσχει στην κλήρωση)
Πώς μπορείτε να συμμετάσχετε:
- Αναζητήστε και ζητήστε να συμμετάσχετε στο “AVCC 4019” club στην εφαρμογή STRAVA
- Στείλτε μας email στο events@athensvelo.gr με το ονοματεπώνυμό σας και το όνομα χρήστη στο STRAVA.
- Ξεκινήστε να κάνετε ποδήλατο! ( Από τις 23-29/12)
Όροι συμμετοχής:
- Μέγιστος αριθμός συμμετοχών : 100 άτομα (First come, first serve 😊)
- Απαγορεύονται τα virtual rides
- Απαγορεύονται τα e-bikes
- Δικαίωμα συμμετοχής έχουν μόνο άτομα που κατοικούν στην Ελλάδα
- Προθεσμία συμμέτοχης μέχρι τις 20/12 ή μέχρι να συμπληρωθεί ο μέγιστος αριθμός συμμετοχών.

AVCC 4019
Athens Vélo is hitting its fifth Christmas as a bike shop with a challenge for y’all this 2024! What started with two friends and a wild love for cycling has turned into an adventure-packed journey—building trails, racing, and forming an amazing community around our shared passion.
This year, we’re taking things up a notch with the Athens Vertical Cycling Challenge (AVCC)!
From December 23rd to 29th, we’re inviting everyone to tackle 4,019 vertical meters within 7 days, a nod to our address in the city and our founding year.
There will be 4 special prizes up for grabs for the contestants. Additionally all people who complete the challenge of 4.019m elevation gain will be gifted a 15% coupon to use in clothing, optics, accessories and nutrition products found at the store. (Coupon expires 31st of May 2025)
The prizes names (SOON TO BE ANNOUNCED):
- 1st Place: King/Queen of the Mountain (Highest Elevation Gained)
- 2nd Place: Summit Slayer (2nd Highest Elevation Gained)
- 3rd Place: Elevation Warrior (3rd Highest Elevation Gained)
- Bonus winner: Lucky Climber (Randomly selected raffle winner at the end of the challenge. Must have completed the challenge of 4019m elevation gain to enter the raffle)
How to Participate:
- Search and ask to Join “AVCC 4019” club on the Strava app
- Send us an email at events@athensvelo.gr with your Full name and Strava username
- Start riding! (from 23rd to 29th)
Rules:
- Max 100 persons can join (First come, first serve 😊)
- All human powered bikes allowed
- No virtual rides
- No e-bikes
- Only people residing in Greece are eligible to participate
- Deadline to Join 20th of December or until full capacity
